'Tis the season of joy, and at FOXFORD, we decided to make this Christmas extra special by hosting a unique and heartwarming event as part of our commitment to steer clear of the Black Friday frenzy. In line with our "Just Another Friday" philosophy, we organised a delightful Christmas morning gathering, where every element radiated warmth, generosity, and the true spirit of the season.
To kick off the festivities, we offered a limited number of tickets for sale, with all proceeds going to a noble cause —Oscars Kids Ireland. Within hours, the 100 tickets we released online were snapped up by our wonderful community, showcasing the power of coming together for a good cause.
The event took place in the cosy ambiance of our FOXFORD cafe, where attendees were treated to a delectable buffet of breakfast delights. The spread featured mouthwatering treats such as freshly baked scones, hearty brown bread, delicate smoked salmon, and adorable mini quiches. The aroma of these culinary delights filled the air, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.
Adding to the festive vibe, the talented duo of Mark O'Donnell and Grace Killeen provided the musical backdrop for the morning. Their performances were nothing short of wonderful, filling the space with Christmas cheer and creating a lively and joyful atmosphere that perfectly complemented the spirit of the season.
As a token of appreciation for joining us on this special morning, each attendee was gifted a thoughtfully curated goodie bag. Packed with festive surprises and FOXFORD treasures, these bags were a delightful memento for everyone to remember the magic of the day. We want to thank all our suppliers who attended and also gave generously to the goodie bags and spot prizes.
What made this event truly special was the sense of community and giving that permeated every moment. By choosing not to participate in the Black Friday madness and instead channeling our energy towards a charitable cause, we were able to celebrate the true essence of Christmas—giving, sharing, and spreading joy.
